Robin Gayle

Robin Gayle Wright was born in Dallas, Texas, to Gayle (Gaston) she was the national director of Mary Kay, and Freddie Wright who was a pharmaceutical executive. She was born in San Diego. She started her professional career when she was 14 working as a model. She has worked in Paris, Japan and Paris. She chose to become an actress after she had graduated from high school. She was offered a part on the soap opera Santa Barbara (1984), and was nominated for three Daytime Emmy Awards. Dane Witherspoon was her fellow cast member, and she got married to him in 1986. Then, she appeared on The Princess Bride (1987), playing the title role. After being let go of the cast of Santa Barbara, she got the role of the main character in Denial (1990) with Jason Patric. In 1990, she was in State of Grace (1990) and became acquainted with actor Sean Penn, by whom she had a daughter, Dylan Frances, and a son, Hopper Jack. After a break, Robin was back to Hollywood with one the best roles of her career: She was Tara in The Playboys (1992). She was beautiful and amazing. Then, she acted in Toys (1992) in Toys (1992) alongside Robin Williams, and she performed a hilarious role. In 1994, Wright was in the blockbuster smash Forrest Gump (1994), along with Tom Hanks. She received a nomination for the Golden Globe Award in recognition of her performance in the film as Jenny. She was offered a minor part in The Crossing Guard (1995), with Jack Nicholson. After being rejected for 14 roles, she was offered the lead role in MGM/UA’s Moll Flanders (1996). The movie was directed by Pen Densham and featured Morgan Freeman, Stockard Channing, and Morgan Freeman. She then starred alongside William Hurt in Erin Dignam’s Loved (1997).
