Rashida Jones

Rashida Jones was the younger sister of media mogul, producer, musician Quincy Jones and actress Peggy Lipton. Kidada Jones is her older sibling. Five half-siblings are born from her father's other relationships. Her father is African-American . her mother is Ashkenazi Jewish (a descendant of emigrants from Russia and Latvia). Rashida was born into Reform Judaism. She was born in Bel Air Los Angeles, California. Jones stated that Jones had mixed race parents who did not suit her in the 1970s. Jones first professional acting experience was in The Last Don (1997) A mini-series based on Mario Puzo's novel. Rashida was also a Harvard University graduate in 1997. In 1997, she attended the Buckley School, Sherman Oaks, California. She was awarded the Most Likely to Succeed Award. Arabic (O+O'UO O(c)) is her nickname. Rashida's dad is African-American but also has smaller quantities of English, Scottish, and Welsh and Scottish family ancestry (some of his African ancestral ancestors came from the Tikar people of Cameroon).
