Rachel Emily Nichols

Rachel Emily Nichols was born in Augusta, Maine, the daughter of Alison and James Nichols, a schoolteacher. She is of French Canadian and English descent. Cony High School, Augusta is where she earned the highest jump medal. Columbia University in New York City was where she graduated with an honors degree in math and economics. Following her modeling career her career, she forged a lucrative career working for high-profile companies like Guess?, Abercrombie & Fitch and L'Oreal. Rachel was able to transition into acting when she was given the opportunity to be a character in the HBO comedy Sex and the City (1998).
