Jillian Noel Hennessy

Jillian Noel Hennessy (19 November 1975) is a Canadian actor and singer. She is best known for her roles in the role of Claire Kincaid, a US prosecutor, on Law & Order for three seasons. Crossing Jordan was six seasons. Jordan Cavanaugh, the lead character on Crossing Jordan, lasted six seasons. She has also acted on films like RoboCop 3 (most wanted) and Crossing Jordan (which she directed and wrote). Hennessy was born in Edmonton, Alberta. John Hennessy her father was a salesman and marketing executive. This required frequent travel that led to numerous family relocations. Maxine her mother, who was Maxine's died in the year 1982. She left her daughter in the care of Eleanor her paternal grandmother. Her younger brother named John Paul "J.P." Hennessy, Jr., and an identical twin sister named Jacqueline She is a journalist for magazines and a television host in Canada. Hennessy has Irish, French, Swedish and Italian heritage from her father's side and mainly Ukrainian Roma, as well as Austrian as well as Austrian ancestry on her mother's side. She went to Stanley Park Senior Public School and graduated from Grand River Collegiate Institute, both in Kitchener, Ontario, and used to busk in the Toronto subway. Hennessy and her sister were the first to act as twin call girls on 1988's Dead Ringers. Gillian Anderson, Gillian Anderson's sister, revealed that she was chosen for The X-Files for Dana Scully's part. Hennessy also played the role as Dr. Marie Lazarus on RoboCop 3. In 1993 Dick Wolf signed Hennessy to the role as Claire Kincaid assistant district attorney in the show Law & Order. The role lasted three seasons. She left the show in 1996.
