Aaron Jeffery

   Logie Award-winning New Zealand actor Aaron C. Jeffery is from Australia. His role includes Terry Watson in Water Rats and Alex Ryan in McLeod's Daughters. He also played the role of Matt "FletchThe Fletcher" Fletcher in Wentworth. Jeffery was born in Auckland's Howick and he relocated to Australia at the age of 17 years old. He studied acting at NIDA. He received his NIDA degree in 1993. Following that, he launched his TV career working on the children's show Ship to Shore. Jeffery is best-known for his part as Alex Ryan in McLeod's Daughters. He left that drama in 2008. He also appeared in the third season of the New Zealand drama series Outrageous Fortune. Jeffery was the lead character Frank in Underbelly: Badness. The production was concluded on June 22. The casting announcement for Neighbours' Bradley Fox was made three days later. In October, it was revealed that Jeffery was assigned as a Wentworth corrections officer. Bevan Lee's Between Two Worlds was also the role he played. It was announced in April 2021 that Jeffery will appear on the Netflix thriller series Pieces of Her. The show is inspired by the Karin Slaughter novel. In both 2004 and 2007, Jeffery won the Silver Logie for the Most Popular Actor in the Drama Series for his work on McLeod's Daughters.
