Mila Kunis Bio

 Mila Kunis was born Milena Kunis in Chernivtsi Ukraine on August 14, 1982. Kunis was seven years old when she old, immigrated to America with her parents Elvira and Mark Kunis. Then she moved to Los Angeles. The Kunis family only had $250 in their account when they arrived in their new country. Kunis' parents gave up their jobs to move and were determined to give their children a better future. Mark, an engineer who worked who worked in mechanical engineering quickly found employment as a taxi driver. Elvira, an entomologist from Ukraine, ended up running a pharmacy. Kunis admitted that he did not know American culture until he arrived. I didn't get the culture. I didn't know the language. The first line of my essay for college admission was "Imagine being blind and deaf at age 7". It was a very similar experience to the feeling of moving to the States. It wasn't an easy transition. Milena Markovna Kunis, daughter of Mark Kunis' and Elvira Kunis' from Chernivtsi Ukraine was born on the 14th of August, 1982. She has an older brother. Her mother is a teacher of physics and also manages a pharmacy. Her dad is a mechanical engineer but doubles up as a taxi driver. Her family moved to Los Angeles in seven years. There, she attended Rosewood Elementary School.When she was only 9-years-old, she began taking acting lessons. She auditioned for commercials, and made her TV debut in 1994 in her first appearance on Days of Our Lives. She landed her first big role in 1998, playing Jackie Burkhart on the hit sitcom 'That's the 70s Show'. After receiving rave reviews, she was asked to play the role of Meg Griffin on animated sitcom  Family Guy'.
