 Abbie Cornish is an Australian artist and actress. She began modeling at the age of 13 and got her first acting gig at the age of 15. Then she went on to star in numerous films and TV programs. Cornish is well-known for her roles as the courtier Bess Throckmorton in the historical film 'Elizabeth The Golden Age', the heroin addict of the title in 'Candy,' Lindy in the sci-fi thriller 'Limitless' , and Fanny Brawne in the biopic 'Bright Star'. Her TV appearances include "Outriders" and Marking Time'. Cornish is an aspiring rapper and performer, has been performing as MC Dusk since 2000. Her birthplace was New South Wales. She was raised with three siblings and enjoyed a great childhood. However, when she reached 16 and her parents divorced, she was devastated. Abbie was able to overcome the hurt of her parents' divorce by focusing on her professional career. The Australian beauty is a fan of the piano and guitar, however, she is a fan of acting more than all other activities. Cornish is a vegan who sticks to her beliefs who is a staunch advocate for animal rights. She occasionally contributes to organizations that promote animal rights. Abbie Cornish was born on 7 August 1982 in Lochinvar, New South Wales, Australia. She is the second of the five kids of Barry and Shelley Cornish. She is the older sister of Isabelle Corish who is also an actress. Coming to the relationship between the actress and her lover she was previously engaged to actor Ryan Phillippe who she dated between 2006 and the year 2010.
